Hey I’m Jay!

I am 23 years old and fresh out of playing 5 years of Division 1 Golf at Mercer University. While there I got my BBA in Finance and Economics and got my MBA due to having an extra year of eligibility (thanks COVID-19). After a lot of conversations with people around me and a lot of praying, I have decided to play professional golf. Because of the unknowns of this job, I wanted to write about the real experiences that I am having so that people back home as well as others who may be interested in a similar career path can come along for my journey with me.

My goal for this newsletter is to give an unfiltered view into my successes and struggles of this career, and a way to hold myself accountable to the things I will say along this journey.
